Payments & Fees

We're transparent about our payment and fee structure. See below.

Sellers pay 10%.

That's it - but it sounds like a lot, doesn't it? We don't get all of it. We partner with Stripe to handle payments securely. Stripe is not free. Continue reading to find out more about what we make and where the money goes.

Example Scenarios

As a buyer

You purchase an item on kbdmkt listed for $10. Your payment method is charged $10. When we receive your payment, Stripe has taken their fee of $0.59, so we receive $9.41. Next, we need to take our fee out of the full $10 sale and send the rest to the seller. (10% of $10 is $1, so we send the seller $9). After all is said and done, the buyer (you) paid $10, the seller is sent $9, and kbdmkt profits $0.41.
